Light and Compact, with European Flair – Now with a Sine-Wave Controller Smaller and lighter – easy to park anywhere
Lower seat height; seats two people;
User-removable battery pack
Light and Compact, with European Flair Now with Sine-Wave controller
With its cheeky, voluptuous Continental styling, the MOTORINO XPe is bursting with joie de vivre. Smaller and lighter than most other MOTORINO XP models, it’s nimble and easy to park anywhere. Lower seat height better suits shorter riders and with the support of the adjustable rear shocks it can carry two people. Since it was designed with city-living in mind, the battery pack is user-removable so it can be charged off-bike or quickly swapped.
The XPe features a digital gauge pod and, like all XP-series MOTORINOs, incorporates our high performance CCT Drive SystemABS-equipped hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, hydraulic telescopic front suspension, adjustable-preload rear shock absorbers, and alarm system.
Features
Unique Electric Drive Design
As seen on all MOTORINO™ XP models, this scooter is fitted with our unique CCT drive system. This drive system provides three electronic gears allowing selection of high torque, high speed or high range depending, on the riders preference and road conditions, while maintaining a high motor efficiency. Rated at 500W continuous power, our CCT system is capable of providing peak torque comparable to that seen in 50cc gas scooters with zero emissions and all the advantages of a Motor Assisted Cycle (MAC) classification (no licence, no insurance, free parking). Hydraulic Brakes with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)
The dual hydraulic disk brakes are equipped with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) which ensures safe and effective braking.
ABS is a very important feature for scooters as it greatly reduces the possibility of brake lock up and therefore provides the rider a better chance of steering out of trouble. Read more.
Regenerative Braking System
As with all MOTORINO™ XP models, this scooter also features regenerative braking; this takes energy normally wasted during braking and turns it into usable energy which is returned to the battery pack, extending your driving range and increasing the efficiency of your MOTORINO™. Regenerative braking not only provides energy to the battery, it also extends the life of your brake pads to almost double that seen on typical gas scooters.

I just purchashed my third scooter, my first two were
tao tao’s and they both had problems. after the first one I knew I
should have gotten a motorino, but money was an issue so I stuck with tao
tao, it was a mistake. my first one had non stop problems, and I thought an
upgraded version of the same model would be better and it wasn’t. not wanting to spend more money on fixing a
cheap scooter,I saved up and was going to get an xph, but the place I went
to just sold the last one. they offered me a deal on a xpe and I took it.
riding home was such a smoother ride. when I got home, I charged it for a
bit and saw I still had two hours to go befor I went to work so I took it
for another quick spin, and I loved it even more. I should have gotten a
motorino the first time, but my main concern was price, with the tao tao’s
they were cheap and I got what I paid for, a cheap product. with the xpe I
can feel the power in it, and the stability that comes with a real frame,
and good tires.being tubeless tires now I don’t have to carry a spare
tube,tools and co2 cartridges with me when I get a flat,i hope I don’t get
a flat with this scooter, but the tire inflater, and repair kit that came
with the scooter is a great add on. I should have bought a Motorino scooter the first time around. I would have saved to much time and money in repairs.
